S.L. King is currently involved with providing Mechanical and Electrical/Plumbing and Fire Protection design services. This includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical power distribution and lighting.


Fulton County Government Center

Atlanta, GA

S.L. King is currently assisting Fulton County with MEP and to modernize the entire facility Fire Alarm System to comply with the current Georgia State mandated Fire Alarm and Life Safety Codes. S.L. King designed the fire alarm system for 5 Buildings, and a Mass Notification speaker system.


Chatham County Courthouse

Savannah, GA

S. L. King provided professional mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPFp) design services for phase one of the Chatham County Courthouse.  The project will consist of addressing the electrical upgrades to the existing CCCH parking deck, located at MLK Blvd., West Broughton and Montgomery. These proposed electrical engineering services would provide emergency power systems to prevent occupants from being trapped in elevators and enable gates to remain in operation during power outages.


Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Energy Audit & Analysis

Energy auditing more than 10 millions Square Feet of Residential, commercial and industrial buildings located at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and GSA Buildings in Georgia and Alabama including energy assessment, Bill analysis, Mechanical and control systems operations analysis.

Upgrading and Designing HVAC control systems at Fulton County Justice Center Complex Located in Atlanta Georgia including Hydronic valves, Air valves and Central Plant optimization in order to achieve Energy Efficient and Cost-Effective HVAC System.

Feasibility of Water-to-Air Heat pump assisted with storage tank in order to supply space heating and DHW for Multi-Family houses in Birmingham, Alabama. Also, improving the seasonal performance factor by utilizing Solar panels and increasing the Hot Water Supply temperature.



Cooperation between The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Danfoss company which was mainly estimating seasonal performance factor for ground source heat pump in combined mode, supplying domestic hot water and space heating and implementing storage tank in order to improve the COP of the heat pump.
