Scope of Work
S. L. King & Associates, Inc. (SLKA) provided siphonic storm drainage engineering design for the 1,200,000-square-foot expansion of the Broward County Convention Center. The expansion included a 350,000-square-foot contiguous exhibition hall and a new 65,000-square-foot waterfront ballroom.
In addition to design services, SLKA delivered third-party peer review and Construction Administration support to the plumbing contractor throughout the project’s duration. The team also developed a Level of Development (LOD) 500 plumbing model, encompassing all plumbing systems within the 1.2 million-square-foot facility.
