Atlanta Falcons New Stadium | Georgia World Congress Center Campus
Location: Atlanta, GA

The Atlanta Falcons, in partnership with the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, approved the development of a state-of-the-art retractable roof stadium on the GWCC campus. Scheduled for completion in time for the 2017 NFL season, the stadium was designed to serve as the new home for the Atlanta Falcons, while also accommodating a range of sports, convention, and entertainment events previously hosted at the Georgia Dome.
S.L. King & Associates, Inc. (SLKA) was contracted to provide comprehensive Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design services for selected interior spaces within the stadium. Scope of work included:
- HVAC, plumbing, and electrical engineering design development and construction documentation
- Review and coordination of project specifications
- Interior fit-out design for designated spaces
- Production of Revit-based design drawings (Revit 2015), including fixture layouts and tags
- Construction administration services and project coordination
SLKA actively collaborated with the project architect, specialty consultants, and the prime contractor, participating in regular coordination meetings held in Atlanta, Kansas City, and San Francisco.
In addition to the base scope, SLKA provided specialty consultations on select engineering matters beyond the basic service agreement—demonstrating our commitment to delivering exceptional value and technical excellence throughout all phases of the project.
