Scope of Work
SLKA is providing full MEP and Fire Protections services for the Training Fire Station that is part of Atlanta's new 85-Acre Public Safety Training Center. The Fire Training station includes two (2) apparatus bays, classrooms, and related support areas such as offices, training rooms, workshops, laundry area and locker rooms.
The estimated cost of construction of the 15,000 square foot fire training station is approximately $12 million Design Power and Lighting in the production of drawings and specifications for the Academic Building, Leadership Building, Training Fire Station, Gymnasium and Mock Village. This includes Submittal reviews and answering RFIs. SLKA was also the Engineer of Record for the electrical portio.
